Arian Tejarat Mana
Arian Tejarat Mana Company, using the valuable experiences of industry and university experts, has succeeded in acquiring innovative technology in the field of gas condensate sweetening. The first phase of this unit was inaugurated in February 1992 in Ilam province, near the Ilam gas refinery, with the aim of removing and reducing hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan, which are toxic compounds and have a bad odor. The initial capacity of this unit was 5,000 barrels per day, and initially this operation was performed by tanker, which was small due to the limitations of carrying by tanker. Due to the successful experience of this process and the follow-up of the esteemed officials of the province, the second phase of this production unit was implemented for 6 months with a capacity of 10,000 barrels per day.
In the desulfurization process, the sour gas condensate is piped from the refinery to the desalination unit and after passing through the hydrogen sulfide desalination reactors, it reaches less than 1 ppm and its mercaptan falls below 5 ppm. The amount of condensate exchanged at the refinery is done daily under the direct supervision of the representatives of the Export Supervision and Oil Exchange Department of the Ministry of Oil and using the latest metering technology in the world.
